Hi, my name is Caz! I’m a Freelance Retoucher based in Brighton. 

I started out as a freelance Illustrator, working predominantly in digital formats. After struggling to find consistent Illustration work I decided to retrain as a Retoucher. I taught myself the basics including how to use Capture One and was quick to learn the skills needed due to my background in Illustration and knowledge of Photoshop. I learnt even more during short internships at various retouching studios which eventually led me to a full internship at The Forge, where I worked my way up to senior retoucher before going freelance five years ago.

During my career, I have worked on a wide variety of projects including; fashion, still life, advertising, and lifestyle. Working on a wide range of images has shaped me into a confident and versatile retoucher.

I have over 20 years of experience with Adobe Photoshop as an Illustrator and a Retoucher. My background as an illustrator gives me an extra eye for detail, especially when it comes to colour, anatomy and composition.
